Award winning photographer Donald Adiska, formerly the head photographer at A Pair of Photographers Studio in Ann Arbor, Michigan, has opened his own studio, Ovation Photographics. Ovation Photographics offers a variety of photographic images, from creative wedding photography, to corporate portraits, high school seniors, babies, children and more. Portraits may be taken in the studio or at your home or favorite outdoor spot. Each image is unique, capturing a cherished moment for you to share with your loved ones and to pass on to future generations.

Donald Adiska has had a love for photography going back to his childhood, so while the 15 years of professional experience sounds good there are over 30 years of experience to draw on.

The early years of his work were driven by pure instinct and were based more on experimentation and inner vision than on the formal training and rigid doctrine of the photographic industry. This initial experience taught him that there is certain a magical element to capturing the essence of a person or place which goes far beyond simply posing someone and pointing the camera at them. In his early years he began experimenting with that magical element which brings a photograph to life and allows the soul of the subject to shine through.

Being a naturally curious and inquisitive person as he ventured forth into his life as a professional photographer he then began to study under a variety of leading professional photographers not resting on any one style or one form of photography. While some may tout the virtues of a specific style while slandering an opposing viewpoint, Donald was drawn to the beauty of a wide variety of photographic forms. He studied under master portrait artists, leading photojournalists and photoshop experts.

The combination of real life experience and class room lessons form the base of his style which could be described as natural and flowing. His relationship with his clients is similarly very natural and flowing and on more of a friendly basis than on a professional – client type basis.
